Description
This is a reinforced concrete gun emplacement located on the northeast side of Mumbles Lighthouse. It sits on a levelled concrete platform and features a felt-covered flat roof. On the north side, there is a doorway with hinges for double doors. The front of the emplacement, which faces the sea, is rounded and includes an opening that spans the full width, allowing for a 180-degree turn of the gun. Inside, there are fragmentary remains of the base for the gun and a single steel cross beam that supports the roof.
