Description
Llewellyn Hall, which includes Nos. 2-4, is a four-storey building constructed of red brick and Portland stone, featuring banded quoins. The design includes a three-window cantilevered and splayed corner with a clock on the parapet, along with husk enrichments. The balustraded parapets have frontispieces on the left and right sides, which are dated and inscribed. There is a four-light cantilevered bay facing Kingsway, with vertically linked windows, and enriched oculi at the center of Page Street. The windows typically have shouldered architraves, keyblocks, and aprons, with a band over the first floor and arched, panelled doors at the ground level. An overall cornice features volute brackets on the shop front pilasters along Kingsway, while the right-hand doorway has volute brackets supporting a square frame of an oculus above the architrave surround. The ground floor openings on Page Street are arched, and there is a chunky doorcase leading into Llewellyn Hall. The interiors are designed in a restrained classical style.
