Description
60 Bishopston Road is a symmetrical, two-storey house featuring three windows. It is built from rendered rubble and topped with a slate roof that has stone stacks at each end. The house has recessed 12-pane hornless sash windows with slightly cambered heads and stone sills. The doorway, which is set under a similar but lower head, contains a 20th-century planked door. To the right of the main house is a single-storey range made of rubble stone, which includes a multi-pane window at the front and a planked door with a hatch above on the north gable end. At the rear, there is a continuous lean-to with a stack on the right side. The central doorway is flanked by a 6-pane sash window on the left and a casement window on the right. There is also a skylight in the lean-to roof and a 20th-century half-lit door located at the angle of the house and the lower range.
Inside, there is a narrow central stair hall with the stairs positioned immediately behind the front door, flanked by reception rooms.
