Description
The Game Larder at Craig-y-nos is a square structure built against a garden wall, dating from the 19th century. It features a plinth made of coursed rubble that includes ventilation grilles. The three exposed sides above the plinth are made of boarded sections. The roof is hipped and covered with Welsh slate, characterized by deep overhanging eaves and a large louvred ventilator at the top. There is a doorway at an angle with the wall to the west and a window to the east. The wall itself is approximately 2.5 meters high and constructed of stone.
Inside, the larder has white painted boarding and vertical iron bars set into the sides. There are hanging hooks from the roof, which rises to the ventilator, and the floor is made of flagstones.
