Description
Lock No 67 is part of a group of three locks that complete a flight of five located west of Llangynidr. This lock raises the canal by 17 meters over a distance of 37 kilometers towards Brecon. Like the neighboring locks, the chamber has been largely refaced in brick. At the time of inspection in January 1998, the lock was undergoing repairs, with one gate missing and the others having been replaced in 1994. The stone-faced banks and by-pass overflow to the west were exposed due to the lock being drained.
