Description
Dan-y-graig Bridge, also known as Canal Bridge No. 137, is a hump-backed bridge made of rubble sandstone. It features a segmental arch with keystones and thin voussoirs, along with a low parapet that has flat coping. The abutments curve outward on both sides, and the parapet includes square end piers. A towpath runs beneath the bridge on the northern side, where there is a stone kerb, while on the southern side, there is a string course near the water level.
This bridge originally provided access to a field barn and has a grass track surface. The number plate is missing, and although there are cast iron posts for a weight restriction notice, the signs are no longer present.
