Description
Pont Newydd is an 18th century or early 19th century single-carriageway bridge made of rubble stone. It features splayed abutments and a low parapet. The bridge has a segmental arch constructed with tooled voussoirs, which is slightly recessed from the face of the bridge. The deck is finished with tarmac and is ramped from north to south.
