Description
The building is a Baptist Chapel constructed from stone rubble and features a painted finish. It has a stone slate roof and a stone chimney breast on the east gable end. There are two south-facing doors that are flush-panelled and topped with a segmental stone arch. The windows are pointed and consist of three lights each. To the north, there is a 20th-century lean-to annexe made of brick with a corrugated asbestos roof.
On the south side, there is a 19th-century stone panel that reads, "Messrs William and David Prosser brought the Ministry of the Gospel to their house in the year 1737. And secured this place for that sacred use for the time being."
Inside, there is a pine reading desk and a panelled gallery along the north and east walls, supported by ringed iron posts. A fireplace is located on the east side, featuring wooden brackets, and the roof is ceiled in.
