Description

This is a pair of houses located at 2 Lion Street. They date to the 18th century, with rendered front elevations of three storeys. Long and short quoins mark the ends of the buildings. Each house has two windows. The roofs are slate-covered with projecting eaves. The windows are four-paned sash windows with horns, set within moulded architraves. Doorways are situated within the ground floor bays to the inner side. The wooden doorcases feature pilasters, bracketed cornices, and panelled reveals, with steps leading up to the four-panelled doors, each with a rectangular overlight.
