Description

The Williams Memorial is a stone funerary monument made of Painswick stone, located west of Betws Penpont church. It features a large fluted urn set on a tall pedestal that has a moulded cornice, panelled sides, and a plinth. Surrounding the monument are iron railings on three sides. Inscriptions on the memorial record the names of members of the Williams family who are buried in the vault or in the church. It is noted that part of the urn is broken off.
