Description

The Tomb of Margaret Davies at Tabernacle Baptist Chapel is made of fine-grained sandstone and is supported by four cast iron legs. The legs are ribbed and taper from fluted feet to decorative caps. The sandstone slab features a central ridge and is hipped at the corners, with a moulded edging. There is incised lettering on all four faces, with the oldest inscription commemorating Margaret Davies, who died in 1862.
