Description
Lower Revetment including Steps and Bull Cot at Tynyllwyn is a structure dating from the mid-17th century. It features a battered rubble-stone revetment that curves around below the house. At the left end, there are stone steps, while to the right is a large rectangular recessed bay that contains the bull cot. The bull cot is a lean-to with a stone tile roof, supported by two timber posts on either side of the center. Between these posts, there is stone infill below boarded openings. On the right and left sides of the bull cot, there are full-height boarded doors, with the left door being damaged. The stone walls at the ends are rebuilt from the 19th century on the right side and feature hammer-dressed quoins.
