Description
The barn at Tynyllwyn is a Grade II listed structure built from rubble stone and topped with a corrugated iron roof. It features a full-height wagon bay doorway on the yard side, which is offset to the right and has later double boarded doors. To the right of the doorway are two ventilation slits, and to the left is a later single-storey link to the byre. The right gable end includes a loft opening with a timber lintel and wooden frame. Behind the wagon bay doorway, there is a lean-to on the left side, which has a doorway under a timber lintel facing the yard, above which is a stone engraved with 'JP 1857'. To the right of this doorway is a lintelled window with a stone engraved '168...'. Additionally, to the right of the rear cart passage doorway, there is an added blockwork lean-to. The left gable end, on the downhill side, has two ventilation slits. The barn has a six-bay roof supported by tie- and collar-beam trusses.
