Description

The Ivy Tower is a 2-storey rounded rubble tower, which has been later topped with a crenellated parapet featuring plain copings. It includes various openings, notably a medieval window facing the road, which has a semicircular head above paired cusped lights. To the left, there is a crenellated wall that has a similar window and a boarded door. The low remains of a left-hand gate tower now serve as a garden wall for the Warden's cottage. Additionally, there is a small section of contemporary rubble wall with jamb stone located beyond the right-hand tower.
