Description

Nos 8 & 9 Orchard Street Three-storey pair of houses. Three window bays in all. Slate roof. Front walls of stone laid in regular courses (No 8 painted); stone plinth; window openings with dressed stone heads, second floor openings with heads at eaves level and first and ground floor openings with slightly cambered heads. Three window bays alternating with two door bays. On second floor, left hand and centre window bays each with an inward opening three panes wide window and with a small-pane modern window in right hand end bay. On ground and first floors, all windows now have 12-pane sashes.

No.8 has one-window front. Doorway to No.8 with stone pilasters and moulded cornice on carved consoles; modern glazed door.
