Description
This building, located at 8 High Street Inferior, is a three-storey shop with living space above, featuring a painted pebble-dash front that dates from the mid to late 19th century. It has a plain band at the second floor level and is topped with a slate roof. The windows have moulded architraves, with two square windows on the second floor that have modern glazing. The first floor has a central triple sash window with a bracketed cornice, flanked by narrow horned sash windows that do not have glazing bars. The ground floor has a modern shop front.
Inside, there is an 18th-century staircase, although the balusters are either boxed in or removed, and an 18th-century fireplace.
