Description
Nos 10, 11, and 12 High Street Inferior consist of two blocks. The structure on the right features an early to mid 19th century facade with three storeys and two windows. It is made of painted brick and has a slate hipped roof. The first and second floors have sash windows, with 16-pane sashes on the first floor and 12-pane sashes (four panes over eight) on the second floor. The ground floor includes a shop front with two wide display windows and paired central doorways.
To the left, there is a structure dating from around the mid 19th century, although there may be an older building at the rear. This part has a separate hipped slate roof and a painted brick front wall that is three storeys high with one bay. It features a six-pane window on the second floor and a 16-pane sash window on the first floor. An old fascia board is located between the first and second floors. The ground floor has a shop front adorned with fluted Ionic pilasters and a fascia.
