Description

The barn at Tan-y-fedw is a building of rubble stone, whitened, with a slate roof. It features two large double doors, each sheltered by a slated pent roof. Between the doors are two openings, with one loop to the right and a blocked door, defined by stone voussoirs, at the extreme left.

Inside, the barn comprises six bays, structurally supported by pegged collar and tie-beam trusses and three purlins. The walling stone changes in appearance approximately 2 metres from the ground. There are opposed doors on the rear wall.
