Description

Bugle Bridge is a 19th-century single arch bridge made of red sandstone rubble, featuring some dressed stones. It has a shallow segmental arch constructed with dressed voussoirs and a drip on the upstream side only. The parapet is also made of dressed stone, while the rest of the bridge is composed of rubble. The spandrels are laid out randomly, and the parapet is thin coursed. The bridge has splayed abutments.
