Description
Taliaris Lodge is a two-storey building with a square plan, constructed from rubble stone and topped with a deep-eaved pyramid slate roof featuring a 20th-century apex ventilator, which replaced an original stone stack. The front (west) side has two pairs of ground floor casement windows set in pointed arched recesses with stone voussoirs, and a smaller pair of casement windows with a cambered head and stone voussoirs at the centre of the first floor. On the north side, there is a blank Gothic recess on the ground floor and two small pairs of casement windows above, also with stone voussoirs. The rear features a door in a Gothic recess beneath a shingled gabled hood, with a casement pair to the right. The south side has a lean-to extension with a west-facing casement pair, and the roof was raised in 1994.
