Description
The Vicarage is a two-storey building with a square plan, constructed from dry-dashed rubble stone. It features a low-pitched hipped roof covered with slate and has small black brick chimneys added in the late 20th century on the east and north sides. The south front has three windows, each with 12-pane large sashes, and there is no central window on the ground floor. On the east side, there is a one-window range to the right of a four-panel door that has an overlight, set within an elaborate Ionic doorcase. This doorcase is adorned with two fluted half-columns and a full entablature, along with a pulvinated frieze. The west side also has a one-window range. The rear of the building displays exposed rubble stone and features a pointed-headed stair light.
