Description

The Boathouse and Dylan Thomas' Tool-shed Study

The house, above and at right angles to the foreshore with revetment wall to NW end; reached by modern staircase.

2-storey, 3-2window rendered front with plinth; slate roof and brick end chimney stacks. Small-pane sash windows with margins flanking fixed paired light window over boarded door. Casement windows to 3-storey rear with outside staircase and verandah.

Single-storey pitched roof and vertically boarded shed with casement windows and double doors to W end.

Interior retained as Dylan Thomas kept it; he called it his "water and tree room on the cliff". Originally built as a garage for Laugharne - first car.
