Description

Fernhill Cottage is a 19th-century building designed in a Plain Gothic style. It is constructed from whitewashed rubble and has one storey with an attic, featuring a three-window front. The central bay is advanced, creating a two-storey porch. The cottage has a slate roof with diagonally set brick chimney stacks at each end. The pitched roofs over the attic windows have bargeboards. The outer bays contain casement windows, while the porch has an acutely pointed entrance arch and niches on its sides, along with a half-glazed door. There is a modern extension on the right end of the cottage, which is not of special interest.
