Description
Pont Cennen is a vernacular road bridge constructed from hammer-dressed limestone. It features a high segmental arch that is slightly skewed, spanning approximately 8 meters. The arch's voussoirs are thin and about 0.4 meters tall. The bridge measures about 3 meters in width between the parapets. The parapets are round-topped and stand about 0.9 meters high, with slight eversions at the ends. Most of the copings are made of metallic slag, which has been rendered over in some areas, particularly at the north-east. The only section coped in limestone is the south-east wing wall.
