Description
Llethr Llestri is a double-pile house built with roughcast walls and a slate roof, featuring roughcast end stacks. It has two storeys and an attic, with the rear pile being deeper than the front. The front facade has three bays, with a slightly advanced central bay that includes a central entrance sheltered by a simple portico supported by round columns. The entrance has a replaced half-glazed door. The windows are 12-pane horned sashes, including a round-headed small-pane sash window located above the doorway.
On the left side of the front pile, there is a lean-to garage that has been converted from a 19th-century conservatory. The gable end of the rear pile features three 4-pane horned sashes on the lower storey, two similar windows on the middle storey, and a top-hung casement in the attic. The rear, constructed of rubble stone, has a central round-headed stair light with a small-pane sash window. To the right of this is a 12-pane sash window on the lower landing and a 6-pane sash window on the upper landing of a service stair. The lower storey also includes two doorways with replaced doors and three former doorways that have been converted to 6-pane horned sash windows. The upper right and left sections have tripartite sash windows.
The right gable end, which faces the farm buildings, has 12-pane sash windows offset to the right in the front pile, where the lower-storey window was previously pointed with Gothic glazing bars. There is also a blocked attic window offset to the left. In the rear pile, there are 12-pane sash windows on the lower storey, one on the right and one on the left, and to the left in the middle storey. The attic features a top-hung casement offset to the left and a blocked corresponding window offset to the right.
Inside, the house is centrally planned with a long entrance hall that includes a neo-classical elliptical arch supported by fluted pilasters. The main open-well stair has moulded tread ends and a wreathed handrail. To the left of the entrance hall, accessible through a doorway, is a simpler dog-leg service stair.
