Description

This is a milestone located on the A477 at Llanddowror. It features a cast-iron plaque mounted on a stone, which is attached to the front wall of a house. The milestone has a canted front with two triangular-headed faces. On the left side, it states "11 miles to Carmarthen. Moss & Sons 1838," and on the right side, it reads "22 miles to Hobb's Point Moss & Sons 1838."
