Description
This is a milestone located on the A477 opposite Bush Farm. It features cast-iron plates that are mounted on a stone or concrete base, which may have replaced the original block. The milestone has a canted front with two triangular-headed faces. On the left side, it indicates "23 miles to Carmarthen," and on the right side, it shows "10 miles 85 yards to Hobbs Point" along with "2 miles to [obscured]."
The plates are painted white with raised black lettering and are joined together at a right angle, with black trim, securely fixed to a solid backing.
