Description
Red Cottages, located on the north side of the A40, is a building that dates back to the 19th century. It is a single storey with an attic, constructed from snecked rubble and topped with tiled roofs. The central brick stack has been rebuilt and features four diagonal stems. The building has a pair of swept roof dormers with bargeboards, and the modern windows are paired diamond-glazed lights. On the ground floor, there are three-light diamond-glazed windows and open timberwork porches under pitched roofs. Additionally, there is a two-storey cross-range at the rear that includes sash windows.
