Description
Esgair Berfedd is a farmhouse built from whitewashed rubble stone, featuring a slate close-eaved roof and a brick stack on the left end. The building is two storeys high with a three-window front that is offset to the right. It has late 19th century or early 20th century six-pane horned sash windows, with stone voussoirs and sills. The entrance consists of a half-glazed door also with stone voussoirs. There is a raised plinth, and a plaque beneath the central window states, "This house erected at the expence of Saml Griffiths AD 1809." At the rear, there is an outshut with a window on each floor in the west end wall, and a 20th-century window in the west end of the main house. The property was not accessible at the time of resurvey.
