Description
This is a three-bay, three-storey terraced house and shop, dating from the 20th century and built with painted stucco, a slate roof with close eaves, and brick end stacks. The upper floors feature 8-pane sash windows with raised, shouldered surrounds. A mid-20th century shop front occupies the ground floor, consisting of plate glass shop windows with top lights, angled into a recessed shop door. A deep fascia with brackets is present. To the right of the shop front is a recessed four-panel door leading to the house. A large rear wing extends towards a rock face, featuring external steps leading to an upper-level door within a gable end, set over a brick arch. The interior has been stripped out, but the original staircase, originally at a right angle to the front, remains at the upper level, although currently boxed in and probably without balustrades. The large rear wing has been altered to create bed-sitting rooms.
