Description

Oakleigh is an earlier 19th century house constructed from coursed Cilgerran stone, featuring a slate roof and a yellow-and-red brick stack on the right side. The building is two storeys tall and double-fronted, with two 9-pane hornless sash windows on the upper floor and two 12-pane hornless sash windows on the lower floor. Each window has slate sills and painted cut stone voussoirs above their cambered heads. The house has 20th century shutters. The central entrance consists of a 6-panel door, with two of the panels being glazed, set within a painted slate doorcase that includes reeded pilasters and a shelf hood supported by brackets.
