Description
Angorfa is a mid-19th century house built from squared coursed Cilgerran stone, featuring a concrete tiled roof and stone end stacks. The building is two stories high and has a three-window range with hornless 12-pane sash windows. These windows are adorned with painted stone voussoirs and keystones above cambered heads, as well as painted slate sills. The central entrance has a 20th-century door set in a painted doorcase, which includes a moulded architrave, thin panelled pilasters, paterae blocks at the corners, and a shelf hood supported by brackets. Attached to the west end is a 20th-century single-storey shop and Post Office.
The front garden is enclosed by low unpainted stucco walls, which feature four cross-gabled capped piers and two horizontal iron bars supported by wide-set iron stanchions. There is also a painted timber gate with a fretwork top panel.
