Description
The former coach house at Priory Lodge is a mid-19th century structure built of rubble stone with red brick framing around the entries and a slate hipped roof. It is a single-storey building, originally designed as a single hipped range facing southeast, featuring four well-spaced segmental arch entries and a collar-truss roof.
At the southwest end, there is an added single bay that extends at right angles, which matches the original in style and includes a similar entry. A rubble stone wall runs from the northeast end to enclose a service yard, which is bordered by rubble stone retaining walls on the southwest and southeast sides.
