Description

This is the ruin of a range of workshops, approximately 65 meters long, which were originally two stories high. The building faces east and is positioned against higher ground at the back. It is constructed from local sandstone rubble masonry that is informally coursed. The upper floor and roof have been lost.

The front elevation features 11 openings, with every third bay containing an arch-headed doorway, while the others have arch-headed windows. All the dressings around the windows and doors are made of brickwork, and there are slate sills beneath the windows. At the southern end, there is a remnant of an external staircase, and one doorway from the upper level remains at the rear.
