Description

No 1 Town Quay is a house that features painted roughcast walls and a slate roof with close eaves. The building is two storeys high and has a three-bay front elevation. It includes 12-pane sash windows that have been renewed, along with a central doorway. The door is a four-panelled design with the top two panels arched, also renewed. On the left end wall, there is a small sash window on the first floor, located to the right.

The ground floor on the left side has a stone rebuilt lean-to with a pantiled roof that connects to the rear, where there is a one-storey former smithy that has been significantly rebuilt in the 20th century. The stonework of the smithy is now partly faced with blockwork. The lean-to features a broad door flanked by broad square windows, all of which have new timber lintels. To the right, there is a small red brick wall-face stack, and a narrow door is positioned at the extreme left.

The property has not been inspected.
