Description

The Saundersfoot Railway Bridge is a single-arch semicircular skew bridge made of local sandstone. It has a span of approximately 2.5 meters and a length of about 4 meters. The voussoirs are about 0.3 meters deep and feature no embellishment; the facing arch remains only on the upstream side. The upstream river bank on the Amroth side is reinforced with stone for about 10 meters. There is very little remaining reinforcement on the bank on the Saundersfoot side or on either side below the bridge.
