Description

The Saundersfoot Railway Tunnel is a 19th-century structure featuring tunnel portals at both the north and south ends, along with a complete lining made of local Carboniferous sandstone. The lining is approximately 0.3 meters thick, with a width of 2.4 meters and walls that rise 1.2 meters vertically to form a semicircular vault. The total length of the tunnel is about 12 meters. At the northern exit, there is a stone embankment where the tunnel emerges.
