Description
Rose Cottage is a two-storey cottage featuring a symmetrical three-window design. It has a rusticated white-painted render exterior and a tall slate roof with a tile ridge, complemented by a brick chimney stack positioned to the left, midway down the front roof pitch. The cottage includes recessed horned sash windows, with four panes on the first floor and twelve panes below, both having sills at ground level. There are seven imitation voussoirs, with the key voussoir taller than the others. The central entrance is round-arched, adorned with capitals to the channeled architrave, and features a recessed bolection-moulded six-panel door, without a fanlight.
The house maintains its original layout, which includes a central hallway that leads to the stairs at the rear.
