Description
Coppers, located at No. 2 Milford Terrace, is part of a group of six small terrace houses and one larger end house on the west side of Milford Street, at the upper end. The larger house is at the end of the row, while the others slope down to the left. Each terrace house is single fronted, featuring two windows and two rooms deep, with later rear extensions. Entrances are located on the left side of each house, and chimneys are positioned in the gable of the taller house to the right.
The houses are constructed of rubble stone masonry, which is rendered and painted in various pastel colors. They have slate roofs with tile ridges and sash windows, typically consisting of twelve panes where the original sashes remain. The doors feature fanlights set under semicircular arches. The end house is taller and wider, with 16-pane sash windows. The rear extensions of the houses are not original.
