Description

No 4 Milford Terrace is part of a group of six small terrace houses and one larger end house located on the west side of Milford Street at its upper end. The larger house is at the end of the row, while the other houses slope down to the left. Each terrace house is single fronted, featuring two windows and two rooms deep, with later rear extensions. The entrances are located on the left side, and each house has its chimney in the gable of the taller house to its right.

The houses are constructed of rubble stone masonry, which is rendered and painted in various pastel colours. They have slate roofs with tile ridges. The sash windows consist of twelve panes where the original sashes are still intact. The doors feature fanlights beneath semicircular arches. The end house is taller and wider, with 16-pane sash windows. The rear extensions of the houses are not original.
