Description
The Saundersfoot Railway Tunnel (North) is a 19th-century tunnel constructed from local Carboniferous sandstone. The northern portal features a partial lining, which is generally 0.3 meters thick. The tunnel has a width of 2.4 meters and walls that rise 1.2 meters vertically, topped with a semicircular vault. It extends approximately 100 meters in length, with most of it lined. At the northern exit, there is a large stone embankment. The remainder of the route to Wiseman's Bridge is primarily on an artificial embankment, which has been mostly reconstructed in concrete.
