Description

The telephone call box at the Old Post Office is a red-painted cast-iron kiosk featuring a shallow Soaneian dome. It has lunettes adorned with an embossed George VI crown and lettered glazed panels that read 'Telephone'. The sides and door are vertically glazed, each containing 8 horizontal panes with narrow marginal panes. The structure has raised moulded surrounds and a plinth, while the rear is blank. The call box is associated with the number (01437) 532285.
