Description

The Old Coastguard House is a house constructed of white-painted stucco, topped with a hipped slate close-eaved roof. The east-facing side features a two-storey canted bay window with eight panes on each side, accompanied by a doorway to its right. Due to the sloping site, the south side has an entry at the first floor level, leading to a central lean-to porch that is also stuccoed. This porch is accessed by a ramp from the left and includes a small four-pane window on its east return and a boarded door below. On either side of the porch, there are 16-pane sash windows, and to the right on the ground floor, there is an eight-pane sash window. The north side has two 16-pane sash windows on the first floor to the right, situated above a pair of eight-pane sash windows and a small four-pane window, with the paired sash windows not aligned. The rear west end has one ground floor window. The property has not been inspected.
