Description

The building is a small corn mill dating from an unspecified period, consisting of two storeys and situated next to a millpond to the east of the farmhouse. The mill is integrated into the south face of the dam. Access to the upper floor is from the dam, as there are no internal stairs. Although some millwork remains, it is in a ruinous and collapsed state. The axle of the water wheel is still in place, but the rest of the wheel is missing, likely indicating it was a breast-shot design. The sluice remains intact, and the tailwater flows through a culvert that exits south of the adjacent farm path.

The mill is constructed from random rubble local stone and features slate roofs. The main section of the mill is oriented east-west and measures approximately 4.5 meters by 7.2 meters internally, with the millwork and water wheel located at the eastern end. There are two millstones present.

To the south, there is a single-storey wing that is also built from rubble masonry and has a slate roof, positioned below the main eaves. This wing measures approximately 4.8 meters by 7.2 meters internally. The culvert at the southeast corner runs slightly beneath this wing, suggesting that it is a later addition to the original mill structure.
