Description

The Roach Fountain is a late 18th or early 19th century structure constructed entirely from turned silver granite. It comprises a pedestal supporting a large circular basin with a central turned baluster shaft leading to a smaller upper basin. A baluster centrepiece and a ball finial top the fountain. The basins were infilled during restoration work in 1974. Four cast iron posts are positioned around the fountain.
