Description
The Church Chapel is a building constructed from rubble stone, featuring a half-hipped slate roof and a three-window facade on the east side. The windows are small-paned with pointed heads, intersecting glazing bars, and stone voussoirs. The outer windows are sashes with slate sills and consist of three panes each, while the center window is four panes wide and includes only the upper sash, functioning as a fixed light above double doors. It is unclear whether this center window was originally a double-hung sash like the side windows or a shorter fixed light to accommodate the pulpit. The original doors, which were located between the window bays, have been blocked and feature stone voussoirs with flat heads.
The south end wall is plain, and the rear west wall has two similar pointed windows. Attached to the north end is a low single-storey stone range that includes a stone chimney stack, a door, and a four-pane window.
The building was altered around 1967 to 1970 during its conversion to a hall, which included the addition of a boarded three-sided ceiling.
