Description

The Sessions House is a tall one and a half storey building, featuring a three-window range in a free late 17th century style. The front is finished in painted stucco with raised dressings, and it has a timber modillion eaves cornice that is interrupted by three pedimented gables. The roof is slate, and there is a yellow brick stack at the east end. The building has a raised stucco plinth, band, and angle quoins.

On the ground floor, there are two segmental arched windows with timber mullions and two transoms, with the top-lights being small-paned. These windows have raised stucco shouldered surrounds and painted slate sills. To the right, there is a six-panel door set in a rusticated surround, topped by a circular light with a moulded arch and keystone. Adjacent to this is a narrow single light window with a segmental arched head, two transoms, and a painted slate sill. The upper windows feature mullion-and-transom designs with flat heads, raised shouldered surrounds, and slate sills, with the heads breaking the eaves under moulded pediments. Between the first and second windows, there is a date plaque reading '1900'.

Inside, there is a tall ground floor room and a single loft room, both equipped with ventilation holes through the front wall. The loft ceiling also has a boarded-in circular vent.
