Description

The Farmhouse is a 19th-century building constructed from whitewashed rubble stone, topped with a low-pitched slate roof. It features a larger stone stack at the west end and a smaller brick stack at the east end. The house is two stories tall and has an off-centre arrangement of three windows on the front, which are 16-pane sashes. The ground floor windows have slightly cambered heads, while the centre door does not.

At the northwest, there is a rear wing with concrete steps leading to a loft door on the north end. The east side of this wing has two ground floor doors, with a 12-pane sash window and a casement window above. The rear of the main range has an outshut that includes a 12-pane sash window on the left side and a small window in the centre on each floor. The west end wall features a 12-pane sash window above and a fixed 4-pane window along with three ground floor windows. The rear wing has a 12-pane sash window on the west side and a buttress from a former lean-to.

The house was remodeled around 1963, during which the interior was lined with thermalite blocks, reducing the size of the rooms, and the roof was entirely replaced.
