Description
Liserry Farmhouse is a large early 19th-century double-pile farmhouse with two storeys. It features a front range of three windows, plus an extra bay that is slightly set back on the left. The house faces west towards a public lane, along which its farm buildings are located. It is constructed of local stone and rendered, with a slate roof that has lead rolls at the hips and apex. A tall central brick stack is present. The upper windows are fitted with three- and six-pane sashes, while the lower windows have six-pane sashes, all of which are 20th-century replacements.
At the front, there is a large porch with a door on the left side and a sash window containing three and six panes, topped by a hipped slate roof. To the left (north) is an additional lean-to service area of later date, which has casement windows and brick segmental arches above the windows and door. The front garden is enclosed by a high wall made of rubble stonework.
