Description
7 Goat Street is a late 19th century terrace row of four houses built from rubble stone, featuring slate roofs and four roughcast chimney stacks. Each house has two storeys and two windows fitted with 12-pane sash windows. The ground floors of the houses include one window and a door to the right side. The openings have red brick cambered heads. The original doors were four-panel with a traceried overlight, but only the original door remains at No 5, while Nos 1, 5, and 7 still have their original overlights.
No 7 has been refenestrated with plastic-coated windows since 1981. The houses are accessed by steps leading up to the front doors, and there are basement window heads at pavement level. The northwest angle features Caerbwdy stone quoins, and the west wall is roughcast.
